The subject of spiritual gifts in Romans 12:6-8 can be confusing to many Christians, leaving them wondering if God has, in reality, blessed them with any gifts at all. C. Peter Wagner’s Discover Your Spiritual Gifts will give you a new perspective and reassure you that every believer receives gifts from the Holy Spirit when we are reborn.
There’s a questionnaire to help you discern between natural gifts, such as writing, and spiritual gifts while explanations of the gifts give you specific areas to pray about. Especially encouraging is the section on “gift-mixing”—how we can have a combination of gifts to fulfill the purpose God has for us.
This powerful book just might help you change your life.

Well, I purchased this reading as it was on special. I did like the contents. I suggested this reading to my prayer group and we all agreed. But, to my astonishment my book did not contain the study work book. Not happy about that. I think if there is an additional part to the printing it should all be included in the purchase.

Very interesting! Sometimes people need to know that there are natural gifts that are not spiritual gifts. We as people of God need to read other resources to help us connect more to the Word of God. We need natural things as well as spiritual things so we can become a whole person relying totally on the Word of God. The Word of God is the only authority in all matters!

This was an interesting book even though it was not quite what I expected. I was under the impression that once I discovered what my spiritual gifts were the book would then delve into more detail about each of the spiritual gifts and how it is connected to God's plan for our lives and His edification. I did not expect the amount of detail given to the process of discovering spiritual gifts or the varying theories as it relates to spiritual gifts. I still think that assessment was the best part of the book. I am undecided if it is must purchase or a borrow from the library. If you choose to read this book, be warned, you may be tempted to skip the beginning chapters and head straight for the assessment and discovering your spiritual gifts.

I got this book as an aid to help my Bible study group discover their Spiritual gifts. Unfortunately, it leaves the Spirit out of the gifts, which makes it a book about natural talents. Also, the author has a hard time staying on topic. Even as a Pastor, I got confused. Needless to say, we are using other materials.
