After she revolutionized urban literature with the classic The Coldest Winter Ever, Sister Souljah branched off to tell the story of Midnight, Santiaga’s lieutenant, who turned out to be more than anyone expected. Now, she returns to the Santiaga family saga with this gritty, emotionally searing coming-of-age novel that also features the return of both Winter and Midnight.
Porsche L. Santiaga grew up watching Winter, her older sister, treated as her father’s “most loved jewel,” while Porsche was often forgotten. Yet Porsche has always worshiped Winter, and she shares her family’s hustling prowess and merciless ambition. Taken from her family’s Long Island mansion when her parents go to prison, Porsche bounces around between foster families, group homes and juvie detention. As she runs on the bad side with her Gutter Girls, cements a firm bond with a shy singer named Siri, and fights to defend her dignity from a system that cares little about her, she keeps trying to get back to her family and to the wealthy lifestyle she knew so well.
With A Deeper Love Inside: The Porsche Santiaga Story, Sister Souljah shows why Sean “P. Diddy” Combs called her “the #1 author of the hip-hop generation.”

I thought that this book was awful. It did not compare to Coldest Winter Ever which was an awesome book. I expected more when the book was advertised. I wish that it had been a true sequel.

I did not like this book! I liked the first book only and all the other's in this series weren't good either. It was slow and just jumped all over the place.

This book was decent, not her best work but if you are a fan of the author then you should buy it.
