I really admire this author (Brandi Johnson) because she provides readers with a full/detailed story. Her books are always long (500 pages) and tells the story from beginning to end. This indicates that she gives us our money worth and she also put a lot of time in effort in her stories. She tells a great story!

I totally enjoyed reading about the entanglements that these young characters got themselves into. I really liked the banter between mother and daughter, it reminded me of how difficult it is for a strong black single mother to keep her daughter on the right path. Must read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I REALLY ENJOYED THIS BOOK. I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN. I LOVED ALL THE CHARACTERS. OF COURSE MY FAV WAS BRICK!
