Lance Kingston’s dream of lifelong love is turning into a nightmare. The prosperous publishing executive had just about given up on romance when he met Tia Jiles, a stunning, sympathetic, devastatingly intelligent attorney who ran a leading charitable organization on the side. An instant mutual attraction led swiftly to a fairytale wedding…and then it all started to fall apart.
The signs at first are hard to see, but soon Lance cannot deny that his wonderful wife is behaving strangely. Are these the first signs of mental illness? Cutting back on career stress seems to help some, but then the happy news that Tia is expecting gives way to the frightening realization that her erratic behavior is back and worse than before. And then, Tia’s relatives let slip the revelation that her condition is nothing new.
As Tia stubbornly resists the help that can relieve her inner turmoil, and Lance’s prying family urges him to cut “crazy” Tia loose and move on, only God can save their marriage from the secret she kept.
Bestselling author ReShonda Tate Billingsley tells a dramatic and heartwarming tale about committing to love even when all seems lost…and holding fast to faith even when all seems hopeless.

The book did not hold my interest at all. It was very boring.

I really enjoyed this book, the characters and the message it sent to the readers. Too many times, people brush off a person with mental illness as just being crazy and does nothing to help them. This doesn't help the person with the illness nor their loved ones. At times during this book, Tia frightened me...I was literally holding my breath.
If you have not read this book, I highly recommend you do. You will not only be entertained, but you will learn something too!!

This the first book I have read from this author. I really enjoyed this book. I enlightened me on mental health and how with real love and faith you can get through anything. I will read more books from Mrs. Billingsley.
