Be U

 If you are crying out to God and you don't sense his presence or see your prayers being answered, maybe you're battling a "language barrier." Why not try to speak his language for a change? Speak the words of the bible—his book—back to him. Say "God, remember when you…" and then fill in the blank with something God has already said or done. Then make your request known to him. Tell him you're going to take a line form his manuscript, a promise he's made, a truth he's proclaimed, and give it back to him in his language. He's already promised he will never leave you or forsake you. He's not going anywhere. You have to realize that he's close—and that his presence is not contingent on your behavior, good or bad.

Listen, life happens. It’s not gonna be sun-shiny every day! But he knows what you’ll go through, and he’ll be with you. How can we gain strength if we haven’t gone through trouble and trusted him to bring us out? Nobody grows and advances without trouble. Nobody. Those difficult moments are sure to come, but you’ll make it through. Because he’s close. So close. You watch. You wait. You’ll see.
