Dr. Jonah Morgan is married to his wife, Faith, for more than ten years before their union begins to unravel—and it’s essentially his doing. Jonah hasn’t made any time for his family—their daughter, Elise, and Faith’s son from a previous marriage, Eric—in what seems like too long, and Faith has had enough. She wants a divorce, but what she doesn’t realize is that since his twin brother’s death, Jonah’s been spiraling into a crippling depression, fueled by rampant alcoholism, which has created a multitude of other problems for him, including a rash of false sexual harassment cases now being brought against him…. Can Faith look past their problems, and, through faith and forgiveness, help bring Jonah back on the righteous path?

The message was excellent but it was a very slow read. It took me a long time to finish. I read the reviews and ordered the book, but I didn't like it very much. Read at your own risk.

I really enjoyed this book , liked the different sides of each person in the story.
I also liked that the storyline was not the typical reason you would expect in a troubled relationship or marriage.
I really want another installment.

This was an amazing story. The characters and the issues are real and believable. This is a must read for both single and married couples. Ms. McKnight did an outstanding job on this story!!

This engaging story pulled me into the characters lives. Their tragedies, triumps, disappointments and dreams all became mine. Through out this book I shed tears, laughed out loud, became annnoyed, angry and even rejoiced. The author was able to present each main characters point of view with amazing clarity. The reader is not led to choose sides but to empathize, respect and understand each characters perspective. This story on the surface is about a marital relationship, but when you look deeper it is about so much more. I was challenged to examine my walk with God and my relationships and interactions with others. I look forward to many more stories from this author.

I just finished reading the book and I absolutely LOVED it. It was so relatable & it really ministered to me. It had me even evaluating my own marital relationship...now that's a good book! Sometimes Christian Fiction can be so sappy, incredulous & predictable, but in this book, you find strong characters & a strong plot that keeps you hooked until the end. Looking forward to the next book!
