"ÕLet me be clear with you. These three men, were murdered.
This mother and her son were murdered, and you need to look
at them really, really good, because not only are you lying
to investigators, youÕre lying to me! And the guy who
killed them needs to be brought down, and your little
daydream story you got going is going to crash all around
you, and when it does, IÕll be there and IÕll be charging
you with everything from perjury to obstructing justiceÉ.
Daisy went home realizing that the situation that she
thought was bad with Sticks was actually worse than she had
imagined. WhyÉwould he want an alibi for someone in a bar
that wasn't old enough to drink?É I ain't got no money. The
police is talking about locking [me] up in Muncy and [he's]
threatining me to say thisÉalibi. Is he nuts? Daisy
honestly didn't know what to do. All she knew was that she
was beginning to wish she had never given that alibi
statement to the investigator. Oh, Momma, if only I had
listened to you. She had no idea that one alibi statement
would end up costing her for the rest of her life."

Nard tries to cover his tracks and escape the scene—but not before being spotted by a few bystanders. He makes a mad dash for the streets, but what he needs now is a plausible alibi. If he doesn’t come up with one fast, it could mean life in prison, or death on the streets.
Enter Daisy, whose boyfriend talks her into providing an alibi for Nard. She pounces on the opportunity to make some quick cash. But when she realizes she just provided an alibi for a cold-blooded killer and now the FBI is hot on her trail, it’s time to make a run for it. But her time is running out…

thank god somebody gave me this book and i didn't waste my money. i got through a couple of chapters. i couldn't force myself to finish it. i was surprised that this book was so dull. i've read mostly all of her other books and loved them. she was way off base with this one.

As much as I hate to admit it, I didnt care for this book too much. But I'm loyal so I still got Ms. Woods back.

This was the worst book that Teri Woods has ever written. I was not interested in the plot at all. I really had to force myself to finish this book. There is a part 2 that is coming out....I'm totally disinterested in it. What more could be said....or what more can happen? In my opinion....NOTHING.
