"Onyx cried. 'He's serious. He killed Sunny and he'll kill
Honey. Valentino is crazy. He's going to kill her if he
doesn't get his money back. I know he will.'
Killed Sunny? His money back? Honey had stolen his
money?…
Onyx held my hand, then said, ‘I owe Honey my life. We
all do. The other eleven girls too.’
'Where they at? The other girls you keep talkin'
'bout. Shouldn't they be here? They could help us.' More
like take over for me so I wouldn’t miss my flight to LA.
My relocation was in a few days but no one knew how long
Honey would be missing.
'They're all out working, trying to convince
prostitutes to stop selling their bodies. Red Velvet, we
were all escorts in Vegas. High paid escorts. Honey was our
madam. Honey started this business in Atlanta to help women
get off their backs. Now she's the one who needs our help.
Let's go,' said Onyx."

UrbanReviews.com said of New York Times bestselling author Mary B. Morrison’s last Honey tale: “With well-crafted characters and an intriguing plot, Sweeter Than Honey will have you eagerly awaiting the next installment.” The wait is over as Honey now goes into hiding to save her life—and fights to keep enemies old and new from destroying the future she so desperately wants… Once a tough-talking prostitute and madam, Honey now runs a counseling center in Atlanta that helps women like her get off the streets, which she’s funded with money stolen from her ex-pimp, Valentino James. Trouble is, Valentino still wants his money—fifty million to be exact—and he’s hellbent on getting it back, even if that means killing her. In the last book, Honey barely escaped him and she knows she can’t hide right out in the open anymore. It’s time to disappear for a while and figure out where her life is headed. Honey still pines for Grant Hill, the love she lost when he learned about her dark past. So how much more must she lose before she finally finds some peace? Life still has a few surprises in store—and if she’s willing to risk everything, she may just get that happy ending her heart and soul desires…

I had a hard time trying to remember all the characters. It was an "o k" read once I was able to get the characters straight.

I have not read a lot of books by this author...but for the most part I have not been impressed. Her writing is great grammar-wise.....but I'm so bored with the work that she writes. I cannot relate to any of her characters. I have read all 3 books in the Honey series and I read Maneater..and I have hated them all!
