Alexandria, Renee and Danielle have just learned they all share the same late husband, Marc Foster. In This Time For Good, wild socialite Alexandria thought marrying Marc would make her more respectable. So much for that. Now Hunter Smith is rocking her world—but she’s not that quick to trust another man. In The Perfect Man, Renee has a genius IQ but feels like a real dummy when she learns the truth about Marc. But his brother, FBI agent Chris, may be just what she needs to restore her faith in love... except he’s made it clear he has no plans to settle down. And in Just Deserts, Danielle was duped into believing she and Marc were reconciling, but Tristan Adams may be the sweet treat she needs to help get over Marc’s triple betrayal.

First let me say that I am a huge fan of Brenda Jackson!! But I made the mistake of reading her book first. Now, I find there's no real need to read books 1 & 2. I'm sorry I bought this trio!!! Ms. Jackson's book was to drawn out and the conversations were entirely to long between the 2 characters. But...I'll keep reading her work.

I haven't read the books but should #3 be JUST DESSERTS not JUST DESERTS.

I made the mistake and read the third one first but it didn't make much difference. I enjoyed the second and third one but the first one is a little sketchy to me.

I have to honestly say that this was a very good 3 part novella, although after the first one, you can kind of predict the endings for the next 2 parts. The author for the first one, Carmen Green, could've been more detailed like Brenda and Carla, but the other 2 parts made up for the lack of literary components and it also was a slow read for me. But the second and third, I just couldn't put those two books down. They were written wonderfully and kept the reader in suspense and I honestly fell in love with the characters. So overall, great read!
