New York Times bestselling Carl Weber serves up an explosive new novel featuring a 40-something father who refuses to give up his “playa” card, a spoiled and pampered daughter and a once-faithful, but now jilted-by-love son who’s determined to follow his father’s womanizing ways.
Church trustee, James Black is the king of sexual conquests. With his charm and good looks, women can’t seem to help but throw themselves at him. But the woman of his dreams is about to turn his life upside down... When James actually pops the question, it sparks a ripple effect of shocking proportions. The other women in James’ life are up in arms that he’s off the menu and with a much younger woman at that—just six months older than James’ daughter, Jamie. Enraged, Jamie has every intention of dismantling this relationship—until she’s distracted by a mystery woman who’s secretly calling her man. Then there’s Darnel. He’s always despised his father’s lifestyle, happily embracing monogamy. But when he surprises his fiancée the night before their wedding—he gets a surprise—and vows to get revenge. James is determined to bring peace to his loved ones’ lives. But can he face the hard truths about who he is and change?

I am a big fan of Carl Weber and I was disappointed with this book. Over all the book was good but I did not like the ending. It seemed rushed towards the end. I am anxiously awaiting the Big Girl sequel. I hope that is as good as I anticipate.

I read this book in three days. At first, it really had my attention and I must admit that it was good in the beginning. Once I got to the middle though, some of the story line was kind of predictable. I must say that I was truly disappointed in the ending. It seemed rushed and not thought out at all. I could not believe the book ended the way it did! *shakes head* Overall, it was a good book, but I wish that I would've borrowed it from the library instead of buying it.
