I have all these books, and I have twilight and newmoon on dvd. So this is a case when the movie is going to be much better than her books, instead of the other way around. I rather just collect the movies, but I have these books for collectable purposes only I guess.

You've gotta hand it to Ms. Meyers...she can paint a picture with words. Both prior books reach their ultimate climax in Eclipse with werewolves,vampires & Italian uber-vamps in a dramatic standoff. The standoff, however, takes a long time to occur. The romantic aspect between Edward and Bella plays on, and on, and just somehow lacks the luster and intensity of the prior 2 novels. That said, the intensity between Jacob and Bella is hot and resolved. I have to say, I rooted for the wolf. Sometimes tedious, "Eclipse" is still a fun, sensual and dramatic ride that leaves you satisfied.

The final book brought everything together, even though I felt it was a bit lengthy. The ending leaves room for a possible sequel. I hope she considers it.

I read all of these and loved how Stephanie brought things all together on this last one. It is a long but steady read and I was so happy for how she handled the whole "Jacob" thing. I was wondering if he would be killed off in the last book but, thankfully he wasn't & he found love in the most awesome place!!
