Before there was the tribulation, before the rapture, before there was a legacy that could be left behind, there was Jesus. Meet John, the beloved disciple who walked by His side and shared His amazing story.
At 90 years old, John is the last of the original 12 apostles still alive, the only one who was not martyred. Committed to spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ, he is called by God to write a gospel and to set the record straight. Recalling his time with Jesus, John brings to life the miracles and messages of the Man who would change the course of history. This remarkable and thrilling account brings a deeper understanding to the times of Jesus, His life and His messages like never before.

I took a chance and bought this book. I am so glad I did. This book is wonderful and explain's portions of the Bible that I did not understand. If you are a new Christian, a returning Christian or a devout Christian you can learn something from this book. Buy it, you will not be disappointed. I will buy the other disciple books, these are "keepers".

Enjoyed reading what happened to John after the Resurrection especially before and after his exile on Patmos.

I am not a strong bible reader and was not sure what I would think of this book. I must say I was very pleasantly surprised at how interesting and informative it was for me. I have since ordered and read "Mark" as well and will continue with each book they offer.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading "John's Story". The people in the Bible are provided as a reference for us as to how to live our lives. This book provided such rich background about the disciple John. The power of Jesus Christ to change lives is so in evidence. I could vividly imagine his life and times through LaHaye's and Jenkin's words. I also found the Polycarp story line fascinating and inspiring. This book has certainly enriched my faith.
