Vianna speaks about her own experiences leading to the creation of ThetaHealing, and events that led her to where she is today. Through step-by-step instruction, exercises, diagrams, pictures and real-life examples, you’ll receive clear, solid—and inspiring—guidance from this interactive book in your quest to improve your life.
This life-changing work, a fusion of two previous books and a wealth of new information, is for novices and advanced practitioners alike. B&W photos.

This is an accessible way for people to connect with their own healing powers. Is it the right way for EVERYONE? No, but there are many different modalities for healing yourself and others and everyone is capable of doing so. I feel it is a gift to have different methods to work from.
I have never taken Stibal's classes or paid money other than purchasing her three books available here, and I don't have any future plans to, but I really connect with her healing practices (although I use a different term than "Creator") and find I am becoming better and better in channeling my healing energies.
I have to disagree with the post where she felt you have to believe a certain way... I did not get that impression while reading the books. It certainly helps to believe in a higher power, but you can also just access healing through your higher consciousness and don't need to label it anything. You can use any term you connect with to practice and use the Thetahealing technique. She recommends following her guide since it works the best for her (and other thetahealers), but the best thing about methods is that you can take from it what works for you.

Honestly this perhaps is more of a review of Theta healing in general, vs. the book alone. I took the class a few years ago at a pretty hefty price tag. What was interesting was I was in massage school at the time and one of my clients was one of Vianna's first students. We started comparing notes, since when she took the course it was just the Theta technique itself. Class ran about a couple hours. The class I took lasted three days. It was the technique, with a lot of padding like calling in angels and dealing with wayward and evil spirits (they covered that topic in little over an hour, which is why I feel this work is dangerous... you don't turn people out to cross over people after only about an hour talking about it, or worse, to deal with negative entities... it's Naive at best). Also the "Shadow strands of DNA" that she looks to activate through the technique? They don't exist. In the class it was talked about how it had been medically proven. Not true. There is no evidence of 12 strands of DNA, only the two. And calling the others invisible? It's snake oil.
The technique itself is good. It does have merit. However I got the feeling that at some point Vianna has become money focused and padded out what you would learn in the workshop to try to make what she's charging make sense. Money seems to be more of her emphasis. This was further verified after I signed up to take another of her courses and she pocketed the money when there was a misunderstanding over my ability to take the course (there as a prerequisite that was ill defined). I'm sorry, but things like that are frankly dishonest and sullied the work further for me.

This book is given to students of ThetaHealing in class as an adjunct to the training. As a certified instructor of ThetaHealing, I find it a helpful guide to reinforce the principles of ThetaHealing. Vianna reminds us to go to "Source" to get our answers. She teaches people of varying faiths and backgrounds all over the world. Some refer to "Source" as Creator or Allah, Father, Father in Heaven, God, Mother God. Reaching the 7th plane in your mind allows you to acheive the Theta Brain Wave and feel a part of all that is and connect to "Source or Creator" as you relate to that. So, naturally, there needs to be some kind of belief in a higher power.

I gave this book 1 star because the core principlpes are fine. HOWEVER, I have a problem with the author's tone and the fact that she states that you MUST believe a certain way for this to work. I have read many books by spiritualists/healers who ALL say that you do not need to believe one certain thing or way in order for healing to work. I am seriously disappointed in wasting time/money on this when there are so many other authors who come from a place of unconditional love and acceptance as opposed to her self-riteous "my way is the BEST and everyone else is LESS" mentality.
