Even a party girl has to grow up sometime. For Marie Charles, the time has come. Again and again, her father has bailed the North Carolina diva out of one scrape after another. Not any more—this girl is 27 years old and daddy’s decided enough is enough. So when Marie gets drunk and totals her brand new Jag, she gets stuck with 500 hours of community service. When she shows up for her first day at My Sister’s Keeper, a shelter for homeless women, she meets Devon Harris, who’s a volunteer, a superstar TV chef, and a certified hunk. Soon, he’s leapfrogged over cars, threads and bling on the list of things Marie wants. But to get him to love her back, she’ll have to show that she’s got some depth and maturity. And that won’t be easy!

Being a brat didn't get Marie everything easily. Eating 'humble pie' brought on some realizations. A definite page turner.

This book is an absolute must read! I couldn't put the book down. Read little by little just because I didn't want it to end!
