And Lonzo’s new career is putting Nisha and their child in danger. So when Jimmy Ellis, Nisha’s high school sweetheart, starts moving in on her, she’s tempted to throw in the towel on her relationship with the prizefighter. From beginning to end, the way Nisha's spin of a life keeps your interest makes it hard to put it down. If ever there was a man with such dedication to his first love on the same level as his life love, it was captured with Lonzo. There's never a dull moment in the many tales of Mr. Walkers books !

This book was a knockout! I don't really like boxing, but I have read this author before, and he has never let me down before. This book was action packed, and I found myself caring about the characters from the beginning. And Mr. Walker didn't make the book all about boxing - even though the main character is a boxer. This is a romance novel, and Lonzo "The Champ" Ingram's relationship with his fiance Nisha is what the book's all about. Lonzo gets into a little trouble because of money problems, and he has to take a job with a local hoodlum. Lonzo's new side-job causes trouble in his relationship from the first day, and it also brings danger to his family, even though that's who he says he's doing it for. I think the story is told very well, and Lonzo is a very sexy man. I would definitely recommend this book!
