Dr. Cade Mathis has a sterling reputation as one of Texas’s finest neurosurgeons, but his career success was hard-won: For years, he was emotionally abused by his cruel, bitter adoptive father. All his adult life Cade has searched for his birth mother, the daughter of a wealthy family who got in trouble as a teenager. The search isn’t going well until one day Sabrina Thomas walks into the hospital as the new patient advocate. At first, the coldly cerebral Dr. Mathis and the warm, compassionate Sabrina find themselves constantly at odds, but conflict gradually turns to respect, to friendship…and more. Now, as Sabrina brings her tenacity and heart to Cade’s search, a surprise is in store for both of them.

Just finished reading When Tomorrow Comes and I was in tears. What a
wonderfully moving story about family. The power of love is an awesome blessing
and Francis Ray portrayed it so beautifully in this story on a multitude of levels. Such a talent and I am glad I get to experience it.
