This was my very first Walter read and I really enjoyed it! Vert sweet book with an unexpected twist at the end!! I read it in two days.

I thought it was a little slow (don't know what I expected honestly, I never read a Walter Mosley book before) but it was a really good book all the same and left me wanting more.

As I read this book, I had to keep reminding myself that it was a work of fiction. I was raised by my grandparents, with my great grandmother in the house. She died at 104 years of age. It brought home some of the things that she may have went through.
I would recommend it to anyone.

Worthwhile Read

This book was a page turner for me. I loved the character Ptolemy Grey. The vasalating between past, present, memories and thoughts were fascinating. Loved it....didn't want it to end. A great and worthwhile read.
