Not only do I watch his show, but I love this cookbook! I made the blackened chicken with the mango salsa..and a fruit desert! OMG..I'm such a hit at all the gatherings because they look forward to me cooking..if only they knew I was G.Garvin cookbook owner! :)

I was so excited when I finally got my book in the mail. The first thing I made was the Brandy Apple Chicken (partly because it has my name in it) and it was DELICIOUS! I'm sending my mother a copy of this book. It's super simple just like he says and everything taste GREAT!

This is a very good cook book. There are many different recipes that I really enjoyed. Most cook books only have a few recipes but I have already made at least 5 recipes in this cook book and they all turned out very good! I recommend this book and give it 5 stars

I really enjoy this cookbook. I haven't had a chance to make many of the dishes yet, but my family and friends LOVE the black-eye pea soup. Throw in some sweet cornbread and you have one scrumptious meal. I really enjoy the staple seasonings included in the recipes.
