Women of the Bible, by Ann Spangler and Jean E. Syswerda, is a one-volume study guide exclusive to Crossings that provides a unique method to help you slow down and savor the story of God’s love for His people. With a streamlined Bible study to fit the needs of individuals and small groups, it features 52 women of both the Old and New Testaments—from Eve and Sarah to Mary, the mother of Jesus and Priscilla—whose struggles to live with faith and courage are not unlike those of today’s Christian women.
You’ll find an analysis of each woman’s character, recommended Scripture readings, each woman’s story as told in Scripture, a description of the life and times of each woman, a comparison of our own life and times, study questions and ample room for notes. Other special features include: A list of all the women of the Bible; A timeline of the women of the Bible; A list of women in Jesus’ family tree; A list of women in Jesus’ life and ministry.
Vital and deeply human, the women in this combination devotional and study guide encourage you through their failures as well as their successes. You’ll see how God acted in surprising and wonderful ways to draw them—and you—to Himself.

I too was dissapointed. I really thought that I would
learn a lot more about these women and the times they
lived in. And instead, it was a one page description and
the rest just study questions! I must have mis-read the
description of the book because I wanted to read their
stories and what I got were the questions I hoped
would be answered.
I love this book it is awesome and a great read! If you like to study the women in the bible this would be a great book to use.
I was very disappointed in this book. I thought I would receive more information. Would not recommend this book for anyone that is looking for a study on the women of the bible. Very disappointed. Does anyone have a good study on the women of the BIBLE?
