One of the top hip-hop performers of all time, Shawn Carter, aka Jay-Z, hails from the streets and burned up the charts with his own label, Roc-A-Fella Records. In 1996, Jay-Z (a shortened version of an early nickname, "Jazzy") released his debut album, Reasonable Doubt, but his real breakthrough came in 1998 with Vol. 2 Hard Knock Life, a Grammy® winner. In 2004, he moved behind-the-scenes, trading in his performer persona to become a full-time music mogul, and in 2005, was made the chief executive officer of Def Jam Records. But the draw of stage and studio pulled him back into the spotlight for a 2009 comeback. Now this explosive, full-color collection of Jay-Z’s life and times is a must for Jay-Z fans—and hip-hop fans everywhere!

Why has no one actually reviewed the BOOK? All I see is comments about the painting on the cover of the book. Sheesh stop seeing what you want to see! It was done in 1984 by Andy Warhol. A simple check of Google confirms this, does that make Andy a devil worshipper too? ( of course this is in your opinion?) The arguing back and forth about a guy who cares less what you think especially if it's negative is funny. Can we get back to the BOOK? Was it a good book or no?

I don't see much review of the book itself, has anyone bothered to read it at all? The cover is NOT of a demon it is, as it was stated before, " The cover, (which also doubles as Hov’s profile pic on Twitter) is an image from Andy Warhol’s 1984 “Rorschach” paintings. "
Warhol’s 1984 series of 38 Rorschach paintings was a later-in-life experiment which is probably the artistic link for Jay Z choosing the painting as his book cover at this stage in his career.
Now that's out of the way will anyone give a review of the BOOK and not their personal opinion of the mans life?

Has anybody read the book?

Do your own analysis. Don't be fooled by what everyone is saying. First and formost, Freemasonry is Satanic but Masonry is not. I know a few Masons and that is not true. Also, it doesn't matter what color you are if you believe in God or not. Your choice! I believe God. Some hip-hop artists believe in God. The question is after you believe are you willing to follow God? If Jay-Z doesn't that is his problem. We need to stop worrying about what others are doing. Just pray that he will turn around. Besides that, I enjoy his music. I respect his music and that's that. I carefully monitor what I listen to. I'd advise you all to do the same.
